School Supply Drive

Over 200 students in Mason City Schools need assistance obtaining school
supplies. For the third year in a row, the Mason Schools Foundation provided
supplies and filled teacher supply lists for our students in need-- with the
support of generous organizations like the Mason Kiwanis and help from
people like you!

"Every child deserves to start the school year off right with the supplies
necessary for a successful learning environment! We are thrilled that many
people sponsored one or more children with a recommended contribution of $30
per child," said Cynthia Satterthwaite, Foundation School Supply Drive
Chair. "The Kiwanis Club of Mason sponsored 45 students for the 2011-12
school year, and we are hopeful that others will step up in the future to
support these deserving children."
